A local media production company and animation studio is planning to expand in Baltimore City, with the potential for 150 new jobs over the next two years.
Outlook Enterprises – founded by former Baltimore Ravens defensive lineman Trevor Pryce – is leasing nearly 30,000 additional square-feet of space on East Biddle Street to grow its operations and increase production. The company currently has ongoing partnerships with networks and streaming services such as Netflix and Nickelodeon.
To assist with the expansion, both the Maryland Department of Commerce and Baltimore Development Corporation are providing conditional loans to help with project costs.
We chose Baltimore for its perfect blend of technology, art, and know-how. As a computer-based animation studio, we could have set up operations pretty much anywhere. It all came down to will and support. As one of the first animation/VFX studios in the region, we couldn’t be happier with the decision to park Outlook in Charm City.
