Applications are officially being accepted for the second round of the Child Care Capital Support Revolving Loan Fund.
The program, administered in partnership by the Maryland Department of Commerce and the Maryland State Department of Education, provides no-interest loans for capital expenses to providers who are licensed and participate in the state’s Child Care Scholarship Program .
Earlier this year, Governor Wes Moore announced the first 67 child care facilities to receive loans from the program, spanning 16 jurisdictions throughout Maryland. A total of $10 million is available through this second round of funding and applications are being accepted until December 15, 2023.
“With help from our partners at MSDE, we can ensure children in Maryland have accessible care no matter what region they live in,” said Maryland Commerce Secretary Kevin Anderson.
