Global supply chain consulting company Ryder is the first business to move into the Bainbridge Logistics Center, as reported by the Cecil Whig.

Movement is already taking place at Ryder’s new warehouse at 200 Powers Road—as the first official tenant at the Bainbridge property, the company is actively hiring both full-time and seasonal workers.

“Ryder is excited to expand its operations in Maryland with a new distribution center at the Bainbridge Logistics Center in Port Deposit,” said a company spokesperson. “We are looking for people who share our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. We also encourage applicants to check back routinely for new opportunities as our customers’ needs evolve.”

The logistics center was constructed under phase one of the Bainbridge redevelopment led by a joint-venture between MRP Industrial and Hillwood. The center provides more than four million square-feet of space for Maryland’s bustling distribution and logistics sector along the I-95 corridor.

The Bainbridge Development Corporation continues to work to attract tenants to the property, in collaboration with the State of Maryland, Cecil County, and the Town of Port Deposit, among other integral partners.
