Commercial real estate investment and management company Bernstein Management Corporation is moving its Washington, D.C. headquarters to Montgomery County, Md.
As a regional leader in real estate for more than seven decades, Bernstein has decided to relocate its corporate HQ to a new 15,000 square-foot space in Bethesda, which will be renovated and ready for 50 full-time employees to move in by the end of the year. Bernstein’s portfolio includes more than 85 properties representing more than 5,800 residential units and 3.7 million square-feet of commercial space, including office, retail and industrial assets.
“We are thrilled, but not at all surprised, that Bernstein Management Corporation has made its move to Maryland,” said Maryland Department of Commerce Secretary Harry Coker, Jr. “With decades of proven experience as well as its extensive real estate knowledge, the company knows the market well and will thrive in its new Bethesda corporate headquarters for years to come.”
