Dan Dubell, Chris Grohman and Jeff Mitchell recently combined their business experience into a new local venture, EmbroidMe of Bel Air.
Dubell previously worked as Director of Operations for 56 Taco Bell and KFC locations over 10 years, while Mitchell worked for the same group for nine. The two teamed up and entered the embroidery business together in 2003, which they recently converted into an EmbroidMe franchise. Grohman, a youth minister, later joined the duo after meeting Dubell through charity work.
EmbroidMe was recently ranked 20th by The Advertising Specialty Institute'sCounselor magazine in its annual Top 40 Distributors listing. The ranking recognizes the top distributors in the promotional products industry based on the previous year's gross revenue.

Q: What is EmbroidMe? A: EmbroidMe is the most comprehensive source for promotional apparel, premiums and advertising specialties for businesses. Q: What led you to convert your embroidery business into EmbroidMe, one of the top franchises in the country? A: Jeff and I had enough franchise experience to know that a good system works. We are a resource that provides complete solutions, not just logo-ed shirts but also promotional products, trophies, gifts, trade-show displays and more. EmbroidMe also provides clients with a unique experience by working with local promotional specialists.–JM

Q: What advice do you have for other businesses in the area? A: We all need each other. We need to work together more not only to grow our individual businesses, but to combine our strengths and impact our community in greater ways.–DD
