Another international company has announced its plans to open an office in Maryland.
Ireland-based business Brightbeam, a company that helps enterprises harness artificial intelligence to enhance productivity and customer experiences, will set up shop at the Frederick Innovative Technology Center with help from the Maryland Global Gateway Soft Landing program. With its entrance into the U.S., Brightbeam hopes to double its workforce to 28 employees by the end of the year.
The news comes as the Maryland Department of Commerce wraps up the second leg of its European trade mission this month, which also included visits to Platform94 and the Guinness Enterprise Centre, two major Irish incubators for businesses looking to scale operations.
This isn’t the only Irish company to recently locate in Maryland. PRONAV Clinical announced its plans in December to join the same Frederick site for its soft landing in the Mid Atlantic.
