Tradepoint Atlantic has announced that a national third-party logistics company is moving its operations to Sparrows Point.
Known for its innovative warehousing and transportation solutions, RPM Group is relocating from Middle River to a new 108,000 square-foot facility at the premier global logistics hub. The move will bring 60 new jobs to the area and provide RPM with streamlined operations and strategic access to the Port of Baltimore.
“RPM Group’s choice to expand its operations in Maryland is further proof that our state’s assets, strategic location, and vision make it the ideal location for a growing company,” said Maryland Commerce Secretary Harry Coker, Jr. “Tradepoint Atlantic is one of Maryland’s great success stories, and the addition of RPM Group is a sign of even more great things to come.”
Formed in 1981, RPM prides itself on providing services from port to final destination for coffee, tea, non-perishable foods, and fine wine and spirits. The family-owned and operated company has a significant presence on the East Coast with more than 100 trucks and nearly two million square-feet of warehousing.
“We go where we grow, and Baltimore has proven to be a long-term success story for our group thanks to the hard work and dedication by our employees, our customers and the ongoing support by local city and state officials in the Baltimore port region,” said Richard Curylo, executive vice president of RPM Group.
