The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded more than a dozen local small businesses with federal contracts.

Known as the Polaris Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC), these contracts are designed to help the federal government meet its IT needs while also providing opportunities for small businesses to succeed. By awarding GWACs, federal agencies can then purchase cost-effective services from selected businesses including system design, software engineering, information assurance, and enterprise architecture solutions.

The 14 Maryland businesses receiving contracts are:

  • Accelgov LLC (Bethesda)
  • Arch Systems LLC (Baltimore)
  • C2 Cyquent Solutions (Columbia)
  • Cfocus Software Incorporated (Largo)
  • Constellation Software Engineering, LLC (Annapolis)
  • Dsfederal, Inc. (Rockville)
  • Garud-LMI JV LLC (Columbia)
  • Perdigita, LLC (Fulton)
  • Savantage Financial Services, Inc. (Savantage Solutions) (Rockville)
  • Sparksoft Corporation (Catonsville)
  • Swingtech Consulting Inc. (Greenbelt)
  • Systems Integration, Inc. (Hyattsville)
  • Systems Plus, Inc. (Rockville)
  • Zemitek LLC (Bethesda)

More awards are expected to be made in fiscal year 2025 for women-owned small businesses, historically underutilized business zones (HUBZones), and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. Additional information can be found on GSA’s website.
