For the second time in a decade, Evapco is expanding its operations in Carroll County.
The company – which manufactures evaporative cooling and industrial refrigeration products – is adding 45,000 square-feet to its headquarters in Taneytown. With the expansion, Evapco plans to create 275 new jobs in the county.
“As more companies are investing outside of the U.S., Evapco is proud to make this investment here in Maryland, especially in Carroll County,” said Senior Vice President of Global Operations Bill Jones.
Evapco products are manufactured in 23 locations in 10 countries around the world and supplied through a sales network of more than 200 offices.
