Headquartered in Columbia, MD, Tenable maintains a strong relationship with the local community. Over the past year, Tenable has supported local STEM programs and events, such as the inaugural Maryland STEM Festival. Additionally, Tenable has hosted local events of our own. To promote STEM education, Tenable hosted high school students during a Job Shadow day, showing students from across the state what's going on here at Tenable and in cybersecurity, at large. "Who's Really Behind the Screen" – a panel discussion held at River Hill High School – promoted internet safety for students and families, highlighting some of the dangers we all face in cyberspace. Strong STEM programs and eager students are among the many reasons we enjoy calling Maryland home.

Add to that a strong presence in India, Australia, and now France, and you'll see that the Tenable community truly spans the globe.
2015 was a great year for Tenable. We added over 200 new employees and ended the year with a $230 Million Series B funding round led by Insight Venture Partners and Accel – the largest ever for a private security company. We have kept that momentum through 2016, adding even more employees, strengthening our Federal Division to meet the needs of government agencies, and expanding our global reach. But it all starts right here in Maryland, and we like it that way.
