Another television network has announced plans to film in Maryland.
Paramount+ is set to film its new original series, Lioness, around the Baltimore region, with additional locations tentatively set in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan suburbs, Western Maryland, and the Eastern Shore.
The series is based on a real-life CIA initiative that trained female operatives to go undercover and infiltrate terrorist networks. Lioness stars Zoe Saldana (Avatar; Guardians of the Galaxy; Star Trek) and Laysla De Oliveira (Locke & Key; Guest of Honour). The show is created and executive produced by Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone; 1883; Mayor of Kingstown).
The show will be produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios.
